About Jay Pryor

My name is Francis (Jay) Pryor. I work with people who are ready, willing and able to take on their lives in a powerful way.  I fell in love with coaching nearly four years ago. Making a difference with people and supporting them in fulfilling what they say they want in their life, is a gift. Grand Life Coaching was formed three and a half years ago out of my  commitment to live my own life doing what I love. I believe we never stop growing in this life, so I continue to challenge myself at a deeper level every day. One of the best things about being a Coach is being someone whose job it is to have a great life and work with other people on how they can have a great life.

I love my job and my home in Lawrence, KS where I live with my wife Jessica; a woman that inspires me on a daily basis and continually challenges me to be at my best. Jessica and I have been married now for almost five years, and we both have taken on personal development as a way of life. Our relationship is extraordinary. We have a level of communication that I didn’t know existed five years ago. We continue to grow as a couple and in our love for each other as we create our life together.  We don’t have any kids yet but the plan is in motion. We live with our little dog Maddy who is a poodle/llhasa apsa mix pound puppy.

Before coaching I worked at the Director level in contract furniture project management for six years and spent four years as a manager of production for a large printing publication.  I have my Bachelors Degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication Studies from the University of Kansas, in Lawrence, KS.

I am currently a student at Coach U, where I graduated from their CE program and completed working on my first level of coaching certification. I am now working on becoming a PCC Certified Coach and then on to my Masters Certification.  In addition to Coaching I have eleven years experience in creating personal development workshops; I facilitate workshops and seminars and do motivational public speaking.
